He never imagined it would come to this. It seemed like his entire world was crumbling around him. She's leaving....
The 3 -year old marriage of Samuel  and Similoluwa Adebanjo has finally hit the rocks.

Simi had just come back from a one week official trip. Stressed out and moody she walked into the house devoid of love and smiles. Just a look at her husband and the pitiable condition of their marriage was enough to finalize her decision. She was done with this camouflage of a marriage.It all started a few months after their wedding........

One Saturday afternoon, the fairly new couples decided to spend time together just chilling at home [to at least enjoy each others company before kids begin to get in the way]. Samuel was in the kitchen cooking the only thing he knew how to cook - noodles. He said he wanted to give Simi the day off to rest.
While Simi was in the parlor watching TV and wondering what she had done right in God's presence to deserve such a wonderful partner. A text came in on Sam's phone and she absentmindedly opened it thinking it was one of those unsolicited network messages. The first line of the message hit her like a tsunami.
''yesterday was a blast,  miss you already'' it read . It just didn't make sense.
It could be that the message was sent to the wrong number, she thought. She stepped into the bedroom to dial the number. Her call was answered on the first ring.  ''Hello Sammy.....missing me too? '' the feminine voice said seductively. Simi cut the call and quietly went back to the living room dumbfounded. Her mind was a mess.
A few minutes later,  Sam came out from the kitchen with the noodles he prepared . 'Get ready for a treat' he said gayly in a singsong manner .
Immediately he saw Simi he new something was wrong. ''what's wrong baby? '' he asked dropping the food. Short of words, Simi picked up his phone, opened the message and have the phone to him.
His mouth dropped open, he was speechless. The look of guilt on his face was undeniable. He couldn't even bring himself to lie about the whole thing.

Simi's heart broke. The tears she had been trying to hold fought back,  the dam broke. Seeing her tears, her sorrow, Sam forgot all the talks about men don't cry and joined in her sorrow. Their cries blended in a solemn harmony of wails
